Job Profile

The company is searching for a Technical Specialist (Welding) to join its team.

Educational Qualification

  • Applicants should have a High School Diploma

Work Experience

  • Possess 3 to 5 years prior experience in Manufacturing Engineering
  • CNC Machine and Plasma Table programming experience (highly preferred)
  • Fixture and tool design experience (a plus)
  • Previous SAP Experience (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of cost-saving measures through the continuous improvement process (Kaizen).
  • Assist in tool design and manufacturing process development.
  • Cross-functional opportunities for Business Unit to include quality, supervision, and scheduling functions.
  • Investigate and implement safety and ergonomic changes in the manufacturing setting.
  • Prepare justification documentation for capital expenditures.
  • Provide technical support/training to direct labor employees.
  • Supply cost estimates to marketing for new and existing product lines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve re-occurring manufacturing process issues.
  • Work closely with product engineering in product changes/new product introductions.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Competent skills in MS Office suite of applications
