Job Profile

The company is hiring a Tool and Die Maintenance Technician who will primarily be responsible for preventative maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment under standards.

Education Level

• Not mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

• Experience building or maintaining high-volume casting (or stamping) dies, welding ability, and machining
• Experience in industrial maintenance or military experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Occasionally travel to support off-site activities at NAMC’s and Toyota affiliates.
• Perform die modifications for surface quality and accuracy.
• Perform machining and fabricating on stamping dies for repair or improvement.
• Perform welding, grinding, operating cranes, machining, and fabrication.
• Problem-solving and continuously improving safety, quality, and productivity. Perform preventative maintenance on stamping dies according to standardized procedures.
• Troubleshooting die performance in stamping press to resolve or enhance formability issues.
• Work in a diverse team towards a common goal.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Available to work any shift including overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns
• Demonstrated success in troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Some electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Technical knowledge and skills in the following areas: Tool & Die, Welding, Machining

Credible Qualifications

• Ability to problem solve and continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity
• Outer surface panel experience
• Perform basic administrative skills including documentation of work performed by written/electronic methods
