Job Profile
The company is hiring a Tool and Die Maintenance Technician who will primarily be responsible for preventative maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment under standards.
Education Level
- Not mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus
Work Experience
- Experience building or maintaining high-volume casting (or stamping) dies, welding ability, and machining
- Experience in industrial maintenance or military experience
Duties/Responsibilities
- Occasionally travel to support off-site activities at NAMC’s and Toyota affiliates.
- Perform die modifications for surface quality and accuracy.
- Perform machining and fabricating on stamping dies for repair or improvement.
- Perform welding, grinding, operating cranes, machining, and fabrication.
- Problem-solving and continuously improving safety, quality, and productivity. Perform preventative maintenance on stamping dies according to standardized procedures.
- Troubleshooting die performance in stamping press to resolve or enhance formability issues.
- Work in a diverse team towards a common goal.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Available to work any shift including overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns
- Demonstrated success in troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Some electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Technical knowledge and skills in the following areas: Tool & Die, Welding, Machining
Credible Qualifications
- Ability to problem solve and continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity
- Outer surface panel experience
- Perform basic administrative skills including documentation of work performed by written/electronic methods
