Job Profile

The company is seeking a Tool and Die Technician who will function in an innovative concept by working from blueprints by pivoting, marking, and cutting the materials needed using specialized tooling.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have completed a Tool and Die Apprenticeship program

Work Experience

• Possess 5 years of tool and die experience (required)
• CNC Milling machine experience
• Design software experience
• Must be able to operate the following machinery: milling machines, drill press, surface grinders, lathe machines, stick welder (ARC), and MIG welder

Duties/Responsibilities

• Constructs tools where no design is available
• Does highly skilled fitting, adjusting, and timing
• Participate in quality programs such as Smed, Kaizen, 6S, etc.
• Performs any tool room machine operation
• Plans, designs, constructs, or repairs a wide variety of highly intricate and complicated tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures to extremely close tolerance
• Proper use of hand tools such as impact guns, deburr guns, etc.
• Reverse engineer with required measuring instruments
• Understand and follow IATF procedures
