Job Profile

The company is seeking a Welder who will be responsible for performing welding operations to assemble and fabricate metal structures and components according to specifications.

Work with various welding techniques and materials to ensure high-quality and precise welds.

Impact the production process by ensuring that all welded components meet the required standards and specifications, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of our manufacturing operations.

Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, or Stick welding to fabricate components.

Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand specifications and requirements for welding projects.

Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Education Level

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Work Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in welding operations
  • Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Inspect welded joints for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand specifications and requirements for welding projects.
  • Perform welding operations on various metal components and structures according to specifications and blueprints
  • Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, or Stick welding to fabricate components.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welders

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Work Environment

  • Exposure to high heat, bright light, fumes, and sparks
  • May work in confined spaces, at heights, or outdoors in varying weather
  • Physically demanding: standing, bending, lifting, and working in awkward positions
  • Requires use of protective gear like helmets, gloves, and goggles
  • Works in factories, construction sites, or shipyards
