Job Profile

The company is searching for a Welder with a strong understanding of metals and equipment, and who shows proof of experience using them to assemble and fabricate structures made of metal.

Use equipment such as welders, shapers, cutters, and other measuring tools

Responsible for producing products according to the employer’s or customer’s specifications and standards.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Work Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience

License/Certification

• Certified Welder – Mig, Tig, and Rod
• Forklift and Man lift Certified

Duties/Responsibilities

• Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures, and applicable government regulations.
• Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks and determine causes of operating problems in areas including, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical systems/components, HVAC, carpentry, electrical fixtures/switches/power sources, and mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Perform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections to maintain equipment performance
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned
• Proficient at various types of metal fabrication
• Troubleshoot basic troubleshooting skills

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and nights when necessary
• CPR and First Aid trained
• Fall protection trained
• MSHA Trained
• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance · Positive, Team-based attitude

Work Environment

• Stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
• Work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
• Confined Space trained
• Some jobs could work under harsh conditions, including a dirty environment, air contamination, intense noise, and restricted movement.
