Steri Technologies specializes in the manufacturing of fine filtration equipment for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. The primary products include the ZWAG Nutsche filter, FUNDA Pressure Leaf filter, and a Candle polishing filter.

Job Profile

The company is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to join its team.

The position will report to Operations Manager.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants may be required a High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of Mig/Tig Welding experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Communicate production status to management
• Maintain clean and safe work area by following procedures and complying with written and verbal instructions
• Move and stage material as needed
• Must be able to maintain ASME qualifications
• Support other areas within the factory as needed
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with company policies

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to perform with common tools such as band saw, roller, pipe benders, angle grinders
• Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings
• Ability to work in a team environment, and ask questions if needed
• Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks and responsibilities
• Familiar working with all metal types
• Have high attention to detail
• Strong math skills
• Willing to work overtime as required

Work Conditions

• Ability to climb and work on elevated lifts
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive motion, clutch, lift, grab, bend, stoop, push and pull with no difficulties, be on feet during a work shift, and clearly communicate issues
• Must be able to work inside and outside all year long
