Job Profile

The company is hiring a Welder II who will weld a variety of materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, and various alloys, and read and interpret engineering drawings.

Also, be responsible to lay out and fit up complex fabrications such as valve bodies to fittings, piping, slip-on, and weld neck flanges.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a High School Diploma or Equivalent

Work Experience

• Possess 3 or more years of experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Be familiar with Arc Air Gouging.
• Perform basic welding work related to the manufacturing of products.
• Plan the sequence of welding operations to insure optimal workflow and proper attachment of structure, supports, components and equipment when the welding job is complete.
• Position work with clamps or jigs prior to welding and may flame or plasma cut metal plates or other support members.
• Set up welding unit (GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, and FCAW to desired amperage) and obtain specified electrodes based on WPS.
• Utilize engineering drawings or verbal instructions to lay out, position, and weld a variety of pre-cut steel or aluminum parts to fabricate racks and cases.
• Utilize material handling equipment to move material into, around, and out of the department.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASME Section IX certification in GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW processes
