Job Profile
The company is seeking a Welder Specialist who will weld metal parts with MIG welding equipment as specified by layout, jigs, or prints and install electrical wiring and hydraulic systems.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED
Work Experience
- Possess 6 months to 1+ year of related experience or training (preferred)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Complete fabrication by welding parts along vertical, horizontal, or overhead lines.
- Complete production requirements while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
- Complete quality inspection of welds.
- Installation of basic electric and hydraulics and component parts.
- Position parts using clamps and tack welds.
- Repair welds, holes, and metal parts as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Ability to understand and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Capable of plumbing hydraulic systems.
- Capable of wiring electrical systems.
- Knowledge of basic math, tape measure reading, fractions, and decimals.
- Possess a good understanding/knowledge of electrical circuitry and hydraulic systems and component parts.
