Job Profile

The company is seeking a Welder Specialist who will weld metal parts with MIG welding equipment as specified by layout, jigs, or prints and install electrical wiring and hydraulic systems.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience

• Possess 6 months to 1+ year of related experience or training (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Complete fabrication by welding parts along vertical, horizontal, or overhead lines.
• Complete production requirements while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
• Complete quality inspection of welds.
• Installation of basic electric and hydraulics and component parts.
• Position parts using clamps and tack welds.
• Repair welds, holes, and metal parts as needed.
• Other duties as assigned

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Ability to understand and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Capable of plumbing hydraulic systems.
• Capable of wiring electrical systems.
• Knowledge of basic math, tape measure reading, fractions, and decimals.
• Possess a good understanding/knowledge of electrical circuitry and hydraulic systems and component parts.
