Job Profile

The company is looking for a Welding Specialist who will support our welding quality production program.

Educational Qualification

• No education level is mentioned, yet having a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

• Possess 3 to 5 years of experience welding or welding quality within an AWS or DIN-certified organization

Duties/Responsibilities

• Acts as a technical expert in welding and quality operations within the facility.
• Apply documented rules, past practices, or instruction on an independent level and recommends change.
• Constantly observes welding operations to identify areas of improvement.
• Preempts potential problems and provides an effective solution in reaction to the application of welding mythology, techniques, and knowledge of the process.
• Provides side-by-side mentoring using best practices, company procedures, and industry standards as a guide.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to monitor the effectiveness of weld techniques, provide documented and coaching feedback, and practical demonstration of “how to do right”.
• Capable of supporting weld process development and or improvement for the mythology of weld processes.
• Performed visual inspection of increasingly difficult levels involving the application of working knowledge of welding techniques and mythology, ability to read blueprints and other specifications containing welding symbols
• Successful demonstration of key responsibilities of practical welding.
• Working knowledge of torch, plasma equipment, and test equipment.
