The company is searching for a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer to join its team.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry, with at least 5 years in quality function
• Certification as QMS Auditor Lead Auditor (preferred)
• Professional certifications in Welding (AWS, CISWIP) and Painting (NACE) (greatly desirable)

Work Experience

• Possess supervisory experience (strongly preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Conducts incoming/outgoing inspections for all buyouts and systems projects to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinates all project testing and inspection activities by the client and third-party inspectors.
• Ensures fabrication activities of the Skid Fabricator & Shelter Fabricator comply with relevant codes, project specifications, or in the absence of both, basic Engineering Practices, as laid out in respective Inspection and Test Plans.
• Ensures the competency and qualification of fabricators to meet the needs of international standards and division procedures.
• Monitors HSE practices at Fabricator’s workshop and communicates to Quality Manager when a lapse is observed.
• Reviews and approves quality records for systems project (including fabricator’s MDR and documents of bought-out -items) for submission as part of project final documentation.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Knowledge of testing requirements, Welding and Fabrication Procedures, Qualification Test, and relevant codes and standards (e.g., other ASME, ASTM codes, etc.)
• In-depth knowledge of ASME Sec IX, || (Part &C) ASME B31.3, B31.8 and AWS D1.1
• Strong planning and organization skills with the ability to communicate and work with peers, subcontractors, and vendors.
