Job Profile

The company is looking for a Diesel Mechanic who will perform inspections and preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment such as semi-tractors, trailers, heavy equipment, and machinery including brakes, suspensions, electrical, lighting, and mechanical.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants may be required a High School Diploma
• Applicants should have 1+ year of related Diesel Mechanic or related military training

Work Experience

• Possess 3 years of heavy equipment or semi-truck experience
• Related experience and knowledge of the methods, materials tools, and techniques used in repairing semi-tractors and trailers
• Relevant Military experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Repair hydraulics, electrical, and other mechanical components
• Troubleshoot and mechanical diagnosis to identify repair needs
• Prepare and complete the required paperwork

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Attention to accuracy and detail
• Demonstrated safety consciousness
• Knowledge of welding and torching is helpful, but not necessary
• Mathematical and mechanical aptitude
• Proven ability to work alone or in a team setting
• Strong communication skills, effective communicator
