MMI Tank & Industrial Services is a tank contractor and provides customers design, fabrication, and erection of tanks that meet API/AWWA standards, process piping, silos, pressure vessels, and industrial process.

Job Profile

The company is searching for a Millwright Foreman who will perform all types of industrial construction, repairs, installs, and upgrades.

Education Level

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Work Experience

• 2 years of foreman experience (preferred), managing on-site projects in an industrial environment.
• At least 5 years as a journeyman as a Millwright
• Experience welding pipe
• Must have experience in rigging

Duties/Responsibilities

• Be willing to travel, some travel may be required
• Be willing to work weekends and off-hours
• Complete daily reports that detail attendance and production.
• Complete timesheets, accident reports, work orders, and other company and client paperwork as required.
• Have a good attitude and be willing to learn.
• Maintain truck, tools, and equipment in good working order and keep clean.
• Manage the use of equipment and machinery.
• Must be a team player that can get along with other people.
• Oversee a crew of 2-4 millwrights to ensure safe working habits.
• Understand whatever the scope of a project entails and ensure that work is done with a high level of quality and efficiency.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to deal with clients in a professional manner
• Must be able to handle stress and job demands.
• Must be able to read and comprehend plans, isometric drawings, and equipment manuals
• Must be proficient in welding Mig and Stick.
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
