The company is seeking a Millwright for maintenance work.

Installs or maintains machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, drawings, and written instructions in industrial establishments.

Education Level

• Not mentioned, a High School Diploma (a plus)

Work Experience

• 4 years of experience in the specified skill (depending on the mechanic level)

License/Certification

• Written pre-employment qualification test

Duties/Responsibilities

• Aligns machines and equipment using the reverse alignment method
• Assembles and installs equipment, such as shafting, conveyors, pumps, compressors, extruders, turbines, and blowers
• Assembles machines and bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fastens them to the foundation or other structures
• May be involved in the grouting activity for equipment base plates
• May operate an engine lathe to grind, file, and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications
• May repair and lubricate machines and equipment
• Moves machinery and equipment
• Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures; dismantles machines
