Job Profile
The company is searching for a Maintenance Technician who will be part of our Mac Tools team.
Education Level
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Experience
- 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Execute Preventive Maintenance (PM), Reactive Maintenance (RM), and Help Desk work orders.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair production and maintenance equipment, in addition to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools required for equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Perform general building maintenance tasks, including carpentry, painting, masonry, welding, basic electrical and electronic work, etc.
- Responsible for daily 5S activities, ensuring the cleanliness and organization of workspaces and storage areas for safety.
- Will remain on-call at all times for building-related emergencies.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to complete and maintain certification requirements to be issued a Mac Tools forklift license.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to analyze and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Work Environment
- May work in tight, hot, or noisy areas
- Must follow safety and maintenance rules
- Performs equipment repairs and upkeep
- Sometimes works nights or on call
- Works in factories, plants, or facilities
