Duties/Responsibilities

• Adheres to Contech’s Employee Expectations
• Adjust rolls to form the correct diameter
• Completes Post shift daily paperwork
• Completes Pre Shift daily audit
• Completes production/quality control paperwork
• Feed band sheet into roll form
• Maintains equipment and work area in a clean and orderly fashion
• Moves finished product to designated area
• Operates Forklift, coil buggy, or overhead crane to position sheets at rolls
• Paints and welds if necessary
• Receives instructions and schedules from plant supervision
• Select the correct sheet type/length based on the daily band schedule
• Spot weld or hand welds various types of fasteners to form band sheet
• Other duties assigned

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to work with precision instruments
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills
