The company is looking to hire a CNC Programmer to join its team.

Educational Qualification

  • Applicants may be required a High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience

  • Possess an experience with EDM programming using Esprit (a plus)
  • Experience with Live Tooling (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Analyze tooling jobs and drawings; determine best fabrication practices, machining methods, tooling, and fixtures.
  • Create, edit and maintain CNC machine programs for CNC lathes, CNC mills, and wire EDM.
  • Ensure CNC programs are functional, and parts created match drawing specifications.
  • Upgrade existing programs to improve machining time or product quality.
  • Work with a CNC machinist to address any issues related to programs, materials, fixtures, tooling, and machining functionality of parts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Drafting skills using AutoCAD (a plus)
  • Firm understanding of G and M code programming and proven ability to create Mill and Lathe programs using Mastercam to meet drawing specifications.
  • Good people skills: Ability to work with a team, engineering, and manufacturing personnel.
  • Well organized with good computer skills.
  • Working knowledge of best machining practices, machine set-up, tooling selection, feeds, and speeds.
