Job Profile

The company is looking for a Controls Engineer who shall be comfortable supporting manufacturing processes on the production floor.

As a Controls Engineer, you will be addressing production issues alongside quality, manufacturing, and maintenance teams.

Additionally, you will be expected to maintain, and improve existing production processes by using continuous improvement and problem-solving techniques.

The ideal candidate has a background in electrical or computer engineering with strong programming skills and can perform at a high level in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing facility.

Educational Qualification

  • Applicants should have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering from a college/university

Work Experience

  • Possess 2+ years of relevant experience

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Configure, program, test, and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems and associated components
  • Continuously improve quality, cost, responsiveness, and safety
  • Design and deploy intuitive user interface display
  • Develop innovative solutions
  • Diagnose and correct deficiencies in manufacturing processes and equipment
  • Electrical troubleshooting and testing of controls systems, control panels, and associated equipment
  • Propose and evaluate manufacturing processes and equipment
  • Support and actively interact with manufacturing and quality groups

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to read and modify electrical prints
  • Additional control platform experience: Siemens
  • Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation control platform experience
  • Areas of expertise include: manufacturing, assembly process, welding, molding, fabrication
  • Basic understanding of ethernet networks
  • Machine vision experience – Cognex, Keyence
  • Relevant auto industry experience or high-volume manufacturing
  • Robotic experience – Fanuc
  • SCADA experience – Microsoft SQL/Rockwell FactoryTalk Transaction Manager
