Job Profile

The company (Arcosa Aggregates) is hiring an Equipment Technician who will support a positive safety culture by directing the activities and staff within a 24/7 aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards.

Perform basic preventive maintenance on the plant or heavy mobile equipment in a mining environment.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience

• Possess at least 3 years of previous employment (required)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Be involved with safety committee initiatives
• Cleans equipment, and clears obstacles in the Work Environment
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures, and applicable government regulations
• Knowledgeable of basic preventative maintenance on production equipment and plant maintenance.
• Some plant maintenance experience including welding
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
• The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
• The ability to work in a varied outdoor environment (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
