Job Profile

The company is seeking a Fabrication Shop Manager who can lead a fabrication team with day-to-day operational activities.

DSP (Direct Service Provider) or Contractor Options Available

Educational Qualification

  • Applicants should have a Journeyperson Pipefitter or Welding Certificate or equivalent years of experience

Work Experience

  • Possess 3 or more years of structural and piping experience

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Act as a key contact for shop daily logs, safety statistics, equipment use, and maintenance.
  • Assist with maintaining shop supply and inventory while providing reports on the shop budget.
  • Improve procedures to support the billing process to efficiently send invoices and collect payments.
  • Manage workforce performance and disciplinary issues while finding creative ways to resolve problems.
  • Organize and administrate staff duties and training for day-to-day operational activities.
  • Review department reporting on financial reconciliation and cash flow.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Advanced MS Office experience (preferred)
