Job Profile
The company is seeking a Fabrication Shop Manager who can lead a fabrication team with day-to-day operational activities.
DSP (Direct Service Provider) or Contractor Options Available
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have a Journeyperson Pipefitter or Welding Certificate or equivalent years of experience
Work Experience
- Possess 3 or more years of structural and piping experience
Duties/Responsibilities
- Act as a key contact for shop daily logs, safety statistics, equipment use, and maintenance.
- Assist with maintaining shop supply and inventory while providing reports on the shop budget.
- Improve procedures to support the billing process to efficiently send invoices and collect payments.
- Manage workforce performance and disciplinary issues while finding creative ways to resolve problems.
- Organize and administrate staff duties and training for day-to-day operational activities.
- Review department reporting on financial reconciliation and cash flow.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Advanced MS Office experience (preferred)
