Job Profile

The company is recruiting a Heavy Equipment Mechanic who will perform maintenance and repairs to Phillips 66 Sweeny Complex mobile and stationary equipment in order to ensure that the equipment is available, reliable, and safe to operate.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Advise the Garage Mechanic Supervisor of required major repairs or replacements to mobile and stationary equipment
  • Assist in maintaining PM records and repair logs.
  • Assist in ordering replacement equipment, parts, and supplies.
  • Assist in preparing preventative and predictive maintenance schedules.
  • Assist in setting up third-party inspections on cranes.
  • Inspect mobile and stationary equipment for defects or required repairs
  • Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to all safety standards
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on mobile and stationary equipment, including front-end loaders, forklifts, cranes, pumps, stationary engines, and generators.
  • Perform repairs to mobile and stationary equipment
  • Perform other related duties.
