Job Profile

The company is looking for an Engineering Specialist who will work to manufacture better and more efficient world-class automobiles.

Educational Qualification

  • The applicants should have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a college/university.

Work Experience

  • The candidate should have 1+ years of Welding or Joining experience in a manufacturing environment and 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and/or PowerPoint.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Apply engineering principles and analytical techniques to establish and continuously improve manufacturing processes and products.
  • Apply knowledge of joining technology, equipment controllers, and equipment design and evaluation techniques.
  • Develop and manage the joining techniques, materials, and technologies.
  • Execute and verify joining processes and procedures.
  • Identify sources of variation within a production environment effectively and efficiently.
  • Implement interim and permanent corrective actions to resolve quality issues using 8D tools, 6 panels, etc.
  • Implement joining control plans and requirements.
  • Implement the joining certification strategy.
  • Leverage knowledge of and ability to execute measurement systems analysis and variable data analysis.
  • Manage and direct statistical process control activities.
  • Review incoming quality concerns to maintain quality with the assigned area, experience with initiating containment, determining root cause, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Support expedited concern resolution with multi-functional teams including the Quality Dept., Production and Suppliers.
  • Understand and guide in the joining strategy development process.

Preferred Requirements

  • Advanced Degree in an Engineering field.
  • Ideal candidates should be able to demonstrate leadership behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills.
  • Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience.
  • Previous automotive, weld/joining engineering, and quality analysis experience.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Able to work on Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and/or PowerPoint.
  • Welding or Joining experience in a manufacturing environment.
