The company is seeking a Machinist 1 to join its manufacturing team.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a High School Diploma or Equivalent

Work Experience

• Possess 0 to 2 years of experience in cutting de-burring and cleaning tubing and fittings

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ability to follow verbal instructions.
• Ability to work safely and recognize the safety of others.
• Complete 6S responsibilities (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety).
• Cut and clean tubing and weld fittings as well as keep the shop clean.
• Follow engineering specifications to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner.
• Learn proper measuring techniques, tool use, care, and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and maintain or increase On-Time Shipments.
• Performs routine, repetitive operations and processes to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner.
• Provide accuracy and consistency in work performance.
• Use SAP to print drawings and tube cut lists.
• Work with a team as well as independently when needed.
• Works from instructions, drawings, and lists of various tube diameters and lengths with supervision.

• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to learn how to handle material responsibly
• Ability to learn to navigate through our ERP system to find, drawings and instructions
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs. daily
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
• Dependability and flexibility to work overtime and on weekends to support business needs
• Focus on attention to detail to drive plant safety and product quality
