Job Profile
The company is looking for a Maintenance Millwright who will be a key person in many metalworking and manufacturing plants that use heavy equipment and machinery. The position will install, dismantle, repair, and replace units to keep production running smoothly.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have a High School Diploma (preferred)
Work Experience
Experience for (EMEAA)-
- Possess a minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in Mig and Stick welding
- Experience using PLCs (an asset)
License Required – Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A)
- Maintain and repair stationary industrial machinery, mechanical equipment, and automated and robotic systems.
- Most often involved with installing, maintaining repairing, and removing machinery and equipment in industrial plants and factories
Duties/Responsibilities
- Adhering to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliances
- Adjusting machinery and repairing or replacing defective parts
- Cleaning, lubricating, and performing other routine maintenance work on machinery
- Ensuring operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications, and installations
- Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions
- Installing stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools
- Keeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
- Maintaining a clean and environmentally safe work area
- Operating machine tools to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up of machinery
- Participating in the PM program on all equipment for continuous improvement of all machines
- Reading diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Sharpening and maintaining machine tools
- Performing other related duties as assigned

- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work independently without supervision and meet tight deadlines.
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills allowing one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Working knowledge of safety standards of equipment
