Job Profile

The company is looking for a Maintenance Technician who will troubleshoot and conduct repair and preventive maintenance for injection molding machines and support equipment.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or equivalent with technical training

Work Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a maintenance mechanic/technician role in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating forklift equipment

Duties/Responsibilities

• Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Ensure that all maintenance and repair activities are conducted in compliance with OSHA, Federal, Local, and plant safety standards.
• Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Must have working knowledge of support systems, chiller, and compressors.
• Perform mold changes.
• Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning on production equipment and machinery.
• Remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
• Report mold or machine deficiencies to management.
• Satisfactorily complete training courses as determined by management.
• Troubleshoot and conduct repairs for electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems by following diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications.
• Other tasks as needed or as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to communicate effectively in English (both written and verbal) and operate a computer to perform necessary documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Maintenance Mechanic must provide their tools.
• Must be able to work overtime as required, including weekends.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen

Work Environment

• Frequently works in indoor and outdoor settings, including factories or buildings
• May be exposed to loud noise, dust, or hazardous materials
• May work irregular hours, including nights or weekends
• Often works in confined spaces or at heights
• Requires physical activity like lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
