The company is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join its team.

Education Level

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)

Work Experience

  • Previous foundry experience (a plus)
  • Journeymen Card or equivalent amount of experience/education

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair a variety of machinery and related components and accessories.
  • Occasionally, lay out and direct the work of helpers, mentors, and assist lower-scale maintenance techs
  • Perform required electric arc and acetylene welding operations.
  • Test, inspect, lay out, maintain, and replace or install all types of pipelines, tubing, fittings, and fixtures in plant maintenance and construction.
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Proficient in reading and writing
  • Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled, foundry environment.

Work Environment

  • Exposure to noise, dust, and machinery is a common occurrence.
  • May require working at heights or in confined spaces.
  • Physical tasks like lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
  • Shift work, including nights and weekends, is possible.
  • Work often involves indoor and outdoor environments.
