Job Profile

The company is seeking a Mechanic Assistant to join its drilling department.

Education Level

• Not indicated, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

• Welding experience (a plus)
• Class A CDL (preferred but not required)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Carry out various tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Overtime, emergency call-ins, and weekend hours may be required depending on workload.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities. Execute routine maintenance programs for company equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment.
• Recommend a course of action for repair/maintenance of equipment
• Travel required to field locations and remote shops.
• Welding and torching (Steel, Aluminum, and Stainless Steel)

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• A service-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
• Proficient in using job-related tools and equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.
