Job Profile
The company is looking to hire a Millwright who will primarily be responsible for evaluating and diagnosing causes of breakages and repairing hydraulic components.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have a Diploma or Post-secondary Degree in Mechanics, Hydraulics, Millwright, or equivalent experience
Work Experience
- Possess fabrication experience and basic electrical knowledge (an asset)
- Fluid Power Training (an asset)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Always maintain the cleanliness of the shop and work area to ensure the maintenance of a safe work environment, performing various cleaning and maintenance duties as required
- Build, repair, service, and troubleshoot various hydraulic components.
- Complete dismantling and inspection of components, as well as complete a comprehensive service report with accurate measurements related to these components.
- Participate in monthly safety meetings.
- Tests rebuild components or systems to acceptable results.
- Additional responsibilities, as requested.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Basic machining knowledge required (e.g., lathe, milling machine)
- Must be mechanically inclined with a good learning capacity
- Service and team orientation
- Strong working knowledge of heavy-duty tools and equipment
- The ability to effectively communicate technical issues
