Job Profile

The company is searching for a Millwright who will be responsible for the inspection, repair, troubleshooting, fabrication, installation, and installation of metal fabricated products and solutions.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate any issues or concerns with management
  • Ensures all company values are adhered to and promoted through leading by example and creating an environment of trust and teamwork
  • Estimate the time and extent of repairs
  • Follow all company and common-sense safety policies while using all required personal protective equipment, when necessary
  • Maintain material and supply inventory
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of all mobile equipment and customer sites
  • Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
  • Perform a basic inspection of the project to determine repairs needed
  • Perform routine and specific quality checks and document
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance
  • Prepare any safety or quality documentation as required
  • Provide customers with on-site welding, fabrication, installation, and maintenance services
  • Uphold all company and customer site safety and quality requirements
  • Work closely with the Millwright and Maintenance Foreman, and the Operations Manager to schedule equipment and labor resources

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to lift 75 pounds as required without assistance
  • Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used in service shops (forklifts, hydraulic lifts, etc.)
  • Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and complete standard records
  • Organized with attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in the workplace
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to excel in a fast-paced, competitive environment

Work Environment

  • May work at heights or in varying weather conditions
  • Often exposed to loud noise, heavy machinery, and tight spaces
  • Requires physical strength and precision handling of tools
  • Wears protective gear and follows strict safety protocols
  • Works in factories, plants, or construction sites
