Job Profile

The company is seeking a Pipefitter who will work in the fabrication shop.

Educational Qualification

• Pipefitter Ticket
• CSO (Common Safety Orientation), H2S Alive, and Standard First Aid, tickets (assets)

Work Experience

• Possess experience with hydro testing (an asset)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Draft detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation
• Join pipe sections and related equipment and secure in position
• Maintain and repair piping systems
• Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic, and fiberglass pipes, valves, and fittings
• Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and instruments to use and lay out the sequence of tasks
• Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks
