Job Profile

The company is searching for a Pipefitter who will lay out, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts.

Education Level

  • High School Diploma (credible)

Work Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of industrial construction/maintenance industry experience

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Basic plumbing repair
  • Basic rigging
  • Fabricate and install screw pipe, socket weld pipe, stainless tubing, carbon steel weld pipe, stainless steel weld pipe
  • Installs valves, underground pipe, pipe hangers, and supports
  • Leak test tubing systems
  • Minor valve maintenance and repair
  • Miter and fabricate all pipe
  • Operation of pneumatic and electric tools
  • Oxygen and acetylene cutting
  • Read and interpret blueprints, ISOs, filed installations, material takeoffs, and field sketches, and understand specifications
  • Steam and heat tracing
  • Test piping systems
  • Use a beveling machine
  • Additional responsibilities not listed may be required

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Knowledge of safety standards and codes
  • Pipe layout and blueprint reading
  • Precision measurement and cutting
  • Troubleshooting and system maintenance
  • Welding and soldering expertise

Work Environment

  • Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, and repetitive motions.
