Job Profile
The company is seeking a Pipefitter (Fab Shop) who must be competent to cut, prep, and fit stainless-steel pipe spools.
The individual will also be adept at reading fabrication drawings and doing layouts.
Educational Qualification
- No education level is mentioned, yet having a High School Diploma will be a plus
Credible Qualifications
- Must be adept at reading fabrication drawings and doing layout
- Must be competent to cut, prep, and fit stainless-steel pipe and fittings
Work Experience
- Journeyperson or apprentice experience and qualifications in pipe fitting
- We are also open to registered apprentices with stainless steel experience
Duties/Responsibilities
- Cut Fit and Tack pipe spool segments with precision as per detailed shop drawings and shop supervisors’ instructions
- Gouge overlay form carbon steel for material preparation for welding in some cases
- Measure, cut, gouge, and grind pipes, flanges, and fittings
- Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and tools to use and lay out the sequence of tasks
- Perform other duties as required

- Ability to read and understand complex instructions
