Job Profile
The company’s Division (Specialty Papers Division, Espanola Operations) is looking for a Pipefitter/Steamfitter to join its team.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants must have Certification (Pipefitter/Steamfitter 307-A)
 - Gas Fitter and Plumber (306-A) certification (an asset)
 - Must have certification to operate scissor lifts, etc.
 
Work Experience
- Possess 5+ years of experience pipefitting within an industrial environment
 - Experience in Fiberglass piping and installation would be an asset
 - Experience in the Pulp and Paper industry is a definite asset
 - Experience with computer systems such as SAP, Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and CadDraw would be a definite asset
 - Experience with erecting and dismantling scaffolds would be a definite asset
 - High pressure or structural welding experience would be a definite asset
 
Duties/Responsibilities
- Lay, cut, fit, thread, and install piping
 - Read/interpret instructions and documentation and plan work activities accordingly
 - Weld piping and assemblies as necessary/required
 
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced changing environment
 - Ability to work in confined spaces
 - Good working knowledge of computer software and applications such as Microsoft Office
 - Knowledge of the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) process
 - Must have the ability to work from blueprints and Isometric drawings, create weld maps, and perform hydrostatic testing
 - Possess excellent communication skills – written and verbal
