Job Profile
The company is seeking a QA Superintendent II who will make visual land-measured inspections of materials and products to ensure conformance with standards.
Education Level
- Associate’s Degree in Welding Technology or equivalent
Work Experience
- At least 2 years in a Quality Inspector role
- Desire or aptitude to pursue American Welding Society “AWS” Citified Welding Inspector “CWI Certification
Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist Quality Coordinator Orientations and Quality training for small to medium-sized groups
- Complete inspection records and reports
- Follow all appropriate codes and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Attendance is a must
- Communicate and work effectively with a diverse workforce
- Computer skills in programs such as Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrate leadership, professionalism, and strong time management.
- Knowledge of basic measurement tools such as tape measures, protractors, veneer calipers, and micrometers
- Must be able to read blueprints and recognize critical quality characteristics
- Solid background in Mig welding
