Job Profile

The company is hiring a Quality Assurance Inspector who will be responsible for performing assigned inspections on materials, parts and finished products while performing PT/MT Testing.

Also, responsible for performing weld inspections to AWS, ASME, or customer specifications.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED
• Bachelor’s degree (a plus)

Work Experience

• Possess 3+ years of related professional experience in a manufacturing environment
• Machine Shop and Fabrication Shop experience
• Background in NDT (PT, MT, VT)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform Dimensional Inspections
• Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning product for re-work; confirming re-work
• Documents inspection results by completing reports, logs, and photos
• Perform NDT Operations
• Perform Visual Weld Inspections
• Provide support and be accessible to production
• Reviews and evaluates to acceptable standards
• Consistently look for ways to eliminate waste and improve processes
• Practice safety in all aspects of the job
• Look for safety issues with equipment and processes

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Able to read dimensions, and drawings and complete basic math
• Attention to detail and works well under pressure
• Strong communication skills and listening skills
• Well-organized with strong analytical and reasoning abilities
• Working knowledge and experience with shop equipment and processes
• Working knowledge of MS Office and Outlook
