Job Profile

The company is looking to hire a Welder (Level 5) to join its team for working on large assemblies.

Educational Qualification

• No education level is mentioned, yet applicants may be required a High School Diploma
• A welding/Fitting test will be required

Work Experience

• Possess work-related experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Produce parts and assemblies on large assemblies.
• Performs at skill levels including, but not limited to, operating drill presses, sanders, saws, ordinary hand tools, cutting, welding, positioners, submerged arc welder, rail welder, assembly, etc.
• Responsible for own work within a work group requiring coordination with other members of the group in order to maintain production.
• Provides instruction or training as qualified.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Tools/Equipment

• Various types of equipment include but are not limited to drill presses, sanders, forklifts, saws, ordinary hand tools, cutting torches, overhead cranes, welders, positioners, submerged arc welders, rail welders, assemblies, etc.

Materials

• Structural steel parts, weldments, assemblies, various filler metals, various gasses, soapstone, crayons, etc.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Must hold any governmental mandated certificates and licenses
• Must pass TMW-AWS D14.3 Welder Qualification Test
