Job Profile
The company (ALTIVIA Petrochemicals) is recruiting a Welder/Pipefitter with experience in laying out, aligning, and, welding on industrial piping, tanks, and pressure vessels.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants require a High School Diploma
- NCCER Certifications (a plus)
Work Experience
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of welding/pipefitting experience in an industrial setting
Duties/Responsibilities
- Produce welds that will meet NDE (non-destructive examination) requirements.
- Install and repair steam, gas, and other types of pipes and pipe fittings.
- Perform layout of piping, create isometric drawings, and ability to read and understand blueprints and P&IDs.
- Perform other duties outside of welding and fabricating
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Be proficient in SMAW, and GTAW welding processes on stainless and carbon steel.
