The company is searching for a Certified Welding Inspector to join its world-class train manufacturing facility.
Educational Qualification
- The applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED
- Possess a Welding Certification
Work Experience
- The candidates should have 2 years of Welding experience
Duties/Responsibilities
- Performs a wide variety of inspections in the production process through final assembly inspection.
- Follows general inspection guidelines to conduct critical non-routine visual, dimensional, mechanical, and functional inspections on a wide variety of components, assemblies, supplies, and materials.
- Performs critical inspection procedures, requiring special set-ups of new or unique equipment and interpretation of test data from a variety of sources.
- May assist in first article inspection of parts, assemblies, equipment, and tooling.
- Ability to enter, and retrieve basic information from material resource planning, noncompliance tracking tools, and Configuration Management System.” supervision received
- Works on assignments with some supervision required with some instruction and goals established. complexity
- Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Makes accept or reject decisions based on evaluated results and comparison to documented standards
- Interfaces with Assembly Supervisory Staff, Purchasing Staff, suppliers, and customer inspectors.
