Job Profile

The company is searching for a Field Mechanic who will repair/maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience

• Possess 5 years of mechanical experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
• Examines the form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
• Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
• Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
• Looks for maintenance issues needing repairs.
• Lubricates and cleans parts.
• Observes mechanical devices in operation and listen to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
• Performs miscellaneous welding, cutting, and fabrication as needed.
• Performs preventive maintenance, and operates drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
• Repairs electrical equipment.
• Repairs or replaces defective parts.
• Start devices to test their performance. Looks for maintenance issues that may need repairs.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Computer Skills – Diagnostic equipment proficiency
• Language Skills – English (Fluent)/ Spanish (Basic)
• Reasoning Ability – Able to verify that equipment is safe

• Confined Space Training
