The company is seeking a Maintenance Person to join its team for its maintenance department.
Educational Qualification
- No educational level is mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus
Work Experience
- Possess work-related experience (a plus)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Install and maintain machinery and equipment
- Occasional Fabrication and welding
- Operate hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools
- Repair, rebuild, and maintain mechanical drive systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Maintain and commit to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero-injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures
- Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
- Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, and working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lift up to 55 lbs. unassisted
- Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed
- Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting when needed
- Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude
Additional Qualifications
- Basic welding, layout, and fabrication skills
- Experience with 480 volt – 3 phase motor circuits
- Experience with V-belt and Chain drive systems
- Hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge a plus
- Machine troubleshooting and repair skills
- Willing and able to take formal trade school courses as selected by ADM management and take such courses on a continuing basis during the training period
