Job Profile

The company is looking for a Maintenance Technician who will ensure the safe and continuous operations of facilities through preventive and predictive maintenance as well as in unexpected situations for a wheat protein producer.

Educational Qualification

• No education level is mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus

• Possess work-related experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Additional duties, as assigned
• Attend monthly safety meetings.
• Basic welding and fabrication of parts and equipment.
• Follow the procedures of the Safe Work programs, including Confined Space, Hot Work, and Lockout/Tagout.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Participate in programs and procedures required to ensure plant cleanliness.
• Perform preventative maintenance to equipment as instructed by Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Lead.
• Receive daily tasks from Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Lead.
• Stock and organize parts warehouse.
• Understand and follow all SQF and FSMA policies.
• Walk through the plant and check equipment to detect possible malfunctions or problems with production equipment.
• Additional duties, as assigned

• Machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
