Job Profile

The company is hiring a Manufacturing/Facility Engineer who will oversee the implementation of facility improvement initiatives, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency and sustainability.

Education Level

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Master’s degree (a plus)

Work Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in facility management or project management roles.
  • 5 to 7 years of strong organizational and leadership skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Prior experience in operations management
  • Experience with multi-year, multi-phase project implementation

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing budgets for transformation projects to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams like manufacturing, engineering, quality, and maintenance to identify needs and align transformation efforts with organizational goals.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure all facility operations meet regulatory standards and safety guidelines.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze facility operations and performance metrics, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Program Development: Design, launch, and manage initiatives and programs across the site, ensuring best practices are followed and tailored to fit to transform facility, manufacturing, and material flow in the facility.
  • Project Execution: Lead facility transformation projects from planning through execution, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present progress reports on transformation initiatives to senior management.
  • Sustainability Focus: Implement sustainable practices and technologies to reduce the organization’s environmental impact.
  • Tactical Leadership: Develop and implement a tactical plan for lean transformation aligned with organizational goals, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Familiarity with budgeting and financial management
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices in facilities management
  • Proficiency in project management tools and facility management software
  • Strong knowledge of lean management and Six Sigma
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Work Environment

  • May be exposed to loud noises, machinery, or hazardous materials
  • Must follow strict safety and health regulations
  • Often works full-time, occasionally requiring overtime or shift work
  • Splits time between office tasks and on-site inspections
  • Typically works in factories, plants, or industrial settings
