Job Profile

The company is looking for a Fabricator who will set up and operate assigned fabrication machines (i.e. CNC Press Brake Operator, Trump Laser experience) machine tools including hydraulic and power tools which are used to produce component parts for customer service requirements while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Educational Qualification

• The applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience

• The candidates should have a minimum of 2 years previous working experience in a like role.
• Previous Manufacturing Experience is preferred
• Previous Mechanical Working Experience is preferred

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist mechanics and machinists in repair work
• Clean and maintain work area
• Communicate with operators from other shifts
• Complete daily production logs
• Operate forklift to maintain raw material supply for the production line
• Operate production line machinery and computers
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
• Order raw materials. Maintain material supply adhering to just in time manufacturing principles
• Perform back-up for warehouse
• Perform equipment change-overs
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on production line machinery
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees
• Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary to produce products within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use
• Troubleshoot production line machinery
• Other duties as assigned

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
