Job Profile

The company is searching for a Pipefitter III who will assemble and repair pipe systems of various shapes, sizes, and pressures.

Ensure proper placement and alignment according to drawings and instructions.

Educational Qualification

  • Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-year of Technical Diploma/Vocational Certificate (desired)

Work Experience

  • Possess a minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant industrial experience (required)

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Bridge tacks in GTAW on stainless.
  • EE must align with EFX’s visions and values.
  • Must have general knowledge of all aspects of the Fabrication Department.
  • Reads and understands isometric drawings.
  • Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Demonstrates knowledge of the pipe fitting processes for industrial piping.
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Must be qualified in GMAW and GTAW.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Requires some oversight, but demonstrates some competence on degrees and more complex fit-ups.
  • Works under general supervision.

Working Conditions

  • Industrial environment.
  • Required a large amount of standing, bending, squatting, lifting, and walking on a constant basis.
  • May be required to lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Many tasks have high degrees of time sensitivity.
