Job Profile

The company is hiring a Field Service Technician to join its team for various operations.

Educational Qualification

  • No education level is mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

  • Possess 1 to 2 years of experience as a mechanic, some welding knowledge (preferred)
  • Experience and knowledge of the use of basic tools

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Communicates with customers on the status of repairs as often as needed to keep them informed of the progress
  • Completes service and repair orders as assigned
  • Coordinates with a service department and management for all needed repairs
  • Keeps service truck, equipment, and all tools clean and organized at all times
  • Performs maintenance on client trucks as assigned
  • Provides status updates for all repairs to management on a daily basis
  • Records and documents all parts used and labor hours for all repairs
  • Uses company truck to travel to customer sites to inspect or perform repairs as needed

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Customer service oriented
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to travel as needed (local and out of town)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with the ability to get into the company’s insurance policy
